That's right, it is dry out there!!
Cooking fires in Hibatchi's and similar are still OK.
Practice fire safety; have a bucket of water nearby.
Until further notice, steel-core ammunition is not allowed on the range until the fire hazzard decreases.
Even if you are shooting copper jacketed lead bullets, please keep an eye out down range for smoke or fire!!
The ranges have a small fire-extinguisher back of the firing lines for emergency uses like that.
Have fun, protect our range.
Help Keep Your Range Clean
There has been a growing trend of members shooting targets and target supports that leave remnants on the range. It has become particularly evident on the Multi Purpose range. Members are using wooden target supports to hold their targets, which are destroyed in the course of shooting. All great fun and encouraged, what is not encouraged is that many shooters then leave the wood bits and pieces and paper on the range for someone else to clean up. If you shoot something that makes a mess, please be considerate of your fellow members and clean up after yourself.
